I have literally gone through and made absolutely every single Darkest Dungeon Character into a Pathfinder character. Vestal: Last but certainly not least, classic Cleric healing the wounded and tending to those sinners about town. Plague Doctor: Alchemist potentially Grenadier or Vicisectionist, depending on how you build her*. Occultist: Full style caster, rings closer to a Psychic to me, than any of the other Occult classes. Musketeer: Musketeer Gunslinger of course. Man at Arms: Sword and board with leadership buffing abilities? Cavalier couldn't be better represented. My first impression is Fighter, but with his abilities to heal and protect himself, I think he rings closer to Inquisitor to me, enacting judgements of profane protection and destruction. Jester: Bard! potentially even with the Assassin Prestige class! Houndmaster: Ol Doggo companion, buff abilities, but no serious magic? Sounds like a Ranger to me! Highwayman: Picaroon Swashbuckler Pistol in one hand, knife in the other. Hellion: Barbaric Yawp! Definitely Barbarian no spells or magic so not a Bloodrager, just intimidation and big ol swings. Graverobber: I'm thinking the poisoning and the throwing knives leaves this pretty clear cut as a Rogue ![]() Healing abilities and smiting evil? Oh yeah. Less about dealing out big ol barrages of arrows, so much as the class deals out a lot of damage with less.Ĭrusader: Paladin Without a doubt. Sounds a lot like an Investigator to me.Īrbalest: I'm thinking Bolt Ace Gunslinger here. Definitely a ShifterĪntiquarian: Weak combatant, but supports well, with truly great utility out of combat. But sometimes they can be! With a little 3rd party helpĪbomination: Big guy, physical attacker, changes forms, non magic. That's why I love how pathfinder has so many options: anything is possible somehow or another, even if they aren't ideal builds. I like to think less about what a character IS and more about what they can DOĪ noble knight doesn't have to be a Cavalier if his fighting style involves him going into a rage.
